  My fiance and I were invited by some friends to join them here, but they were at a full table. Instead of being sat at another table or being told there was no room for us to eat, the hostess pulled some chairs to the corner of the table. It was very uncomfortable and also a safety hazard for other guests and emoloyees. We were given a gas burner that did not stay lit long and I was unable to cook half of my food. Also, our food came out before our drinks did. I was unhappy with the experience, and as I left I decided to speak with the owner. Dean was very understanding and helpful about the situation. He didn't try to make light of the situation like some managers try to do, but instead addressed the issue directly. Talking to him made the experience so much better and he will be the reason we return. I'll look forward to writing a better review on our next visit.

  I've eaten at Tokyo Pot since it opened a few years ago. The quality has not wavered. My only complaint is that due to low demand, Dean is sometimes out of dessert or drink items. Also, it can be kind of chilly, which is good for the raw meat, I guess.
